Most School Social Worker positions are advertised toward the end of the school year in preparation for the coming year. The best source of locating available jobs is to search the “School Employment” section of New Jersey’s Sunday newspapers. In addition, check with county Supervisors of Special Education and with county Educational Services Commissions, which, in addition to having job postings, may employ Child Study Teams. Please note that the Newark Star Ledger now publishes openings in Education in the Want Ad section of their Sunday editions.
